I bought this primarily to store cut up onions in my frig. Why you ask? Well, any other container I've used "leaks" the smell of onions throughout the entire refrigerator. I also ordered the smaller one and not I have this larger one and it sure is nice to have fresh onions already cut up in the frig to use at any time and NOT have the rest of the stuff in the frig smell like onions. Thumbs up for this product. It is manufactured with quality... the fit and finish is just superb! It is not at all flimsy or poorly made. Quite the contrary.
